Position Overview
Are you a final-year undergraduate or master's student, or perhaps a recent graduate passionate about the intersection of digital data, AI policy, and regulation research? This remote internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our Digital Society programme. As an intern, you will engage in pivotal research activities, policy analysis, and the formulation of frameworks aimed at harnessing digital technologies for social good and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
In-Depth Research: Dive deep into understanding how digitalization impacts society, work dynamics, and economic structures, with a specific focus on promoting sustainability and environmental justice.
Policy Formulation: Collaborate on the development of comprehensive reports and concise policy briefs that influence the discourse on global data and AI regulation, particularly in the context of India.
Collaborative Work: Actively participate in team projects, contributing fresh perspectives and innovative strategies.
Thought Leadership: Contribute to meetings and workshops where your insights on the latest developments in data and AI regulation will be valued.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Currently enrolled in the final year of an undergraduate or master's program specializing in Law, Public Policy, Data Science, Science and Technology Studies, or a related field.
Expertise: Possess a solid foundation in digital data, data protection principles, and ethical considerations related to digital and AI technologies.
Skills: Showcase strong research, analytical, and writing abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adeptness in virtual collaboration tools is essential.
Work Ethic: Demonstrate the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote work environment. Embrace a strong commitment to sustainability, environmental justice, and ethical practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant Experience: Previous exposure to or academic coursework focusing on data protection, AI ethics, and Science and Technology Studies.
Availability: Available full-time for a minimum period of three months, starting at the earliest convenience.
