Revolutionizing Urban Transit: WhatsApp-Based Ticketing by Route Mobile in Nagpur, Pune, Hyderabad, and Delhi

 





Route Mobile has partnered with Billeasy E Solutions (Billeasy) to enable WhatsApp-based ticket booking for the Pune, Hyderabad, and Nagpur metros, in addition to Delhi.

More than 75 lakh commuters use these metros every day. To purchase tickets, they simply need to visit the official WhatsApp account of the respective metro, choose the stations, make the payment, and receive tickets directly from the WhatsApp interface. Additionally, they can also pay for the ticket directly through WhatsApp.



As of now, there are active Metro services in 15 cities in India, and Route Mobile has successfully implemented this solution for four of them, establishing itself as the leading enabler in this field. 
The service was initially launched for the Delhi Metro in the second half of 2023 and has since been extended to three additional cities - Nagpur, Pune & Hyderabad, through a partnership with integration partner Billeasy, who have been pioneers in this solution since 2020.




Route Mobile has developed an innovative ticket booking system through WhatsApp, providing a user-friendly experience with reliability in terms of availability, speed, and security.


Process of Ticket Booking:-

  • To utilize this service, users interact with the official WhatsApp account of the metro. The process is straightforward: users follow simple instructions within the chat interface, When booking, users need to select their starting and destination stations, specify the number of tickets needed, and proceed to payment using their preferred method—UPI, net banking, credit, or debit cards.
  • After successful payment processing, users receive their tickets via WhatsApp as a secure link that opens a QR code for entry into the station, providing a hassle-free journey experience.
