Age Limit:-

General- 22 years (minimum) to 35 years (maximum)

Age Relaxation (OBC)

3 years (Maximum age limit for OBC candidates is 38 years)

Age Relaxation (SC/ST/PWD)

5 years (Maximum age limit for SC/ST/PWD candidates is 40 years)

Age Relaxation (Women)

 5 years (Maximum age limit for Women candidates is 40 years)

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; includes LLB after graduation or five-year integrated LLB after 10+2

Bar Council Registration Required to be registered with or eligible to register with the Bar Council 

Nationality

Must be a citizen of India, with valid proof of citizenship such as a passport, voter ID, Aadhar card, etc.

Domicile Benefits

Candidates born in Bihar or who have completed their 10th and 12th-grade education in Bihar are considered permanent domiciles, eligible for age relaxation benefits

Maximum Attempts

No limit on the number of attempts as long as candidates meet the age criteria for their category

Work Experience Requirement

No specific work experience required; both fresh graduates and experienced practitioners are eligible to apply
