CEREMONIAL UNIFORM FOR PARIS OLYMPIC 2024 TEAM INDIA

The 2024 Olympics kicked off in Paris with a spectacular opening ceremony featuring athletes sailing along the River Seine, accompanied by lively performers on bridges, banks, and rooftops. For the first time, the opening ceremony took place on a waterway instead of in a stadium.

Every Participating country has designed a unique uniform for the Paris Olympics 2024 if we talk about the ceremonial uniform of team India for the Paris Olympics 2024, the uniform has been crafted by designer Tarun Tahiliani.

The male athletes of India are to wear a kurta Bundi set and the females will wear traditional sarees. Both the outfits feature IKAT-inspired panels in saffron and green on white base which represents the tri-colour palette of the Indian flag.

The uniform is believed to be made for utmost comfort from the athlete's point of view, and the simplicity in style and colors clearly represent the country.

International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach declared the 33rd summer Olympics open, emphasizing that athletes are part of an event that unites the world in peace. Over 10,500 athletes will compete in 32 sports, with the Games concluding on August 11.
