Labour Party had a landslide historic victory in the UK general election, ending the 14 years of Conservative Party rule.

The general election of 2024 in the UK was held on the 4th of July, to elect 650 members of parliament to the House of Commons. It resulted in the landslide victory of the Labour Party after 14 years of conservative rule. The Labour Party led by Keir Starmer, is bound to become the new Prime Minister of the UK, the victory achieved by the Labour Party is similar to that achieved by Tony Blair at the 1997 general election.

The Liberal Democrats and Reform UK made significant gains, while the Scottish National Party (SNP) lost more than half of its seats at the expense of Scottish Labour.
