NITI Aayog’s 9th Governing Council Meeting: Key Details

• Establishment: NITI Aayog was established on January 1, 2015, by a Union Cabinet resolution.

• Governing Council Formation: The Governing Council, including Chief Ministers and Lt Governors, was officially constituted on February 16, 2015. It was reconstituted on February 19, 2021.
