Travel influencer Aanvi Kamdar dies after falling into gorge at Kumbhe waterfalls in Maharashtra

A travel influencer passed on after falling into a gorge while shooting a video close the Kumbhe waterfalls in the Mangaon area of Raigad on July 17, police said.


The expired has been recognized as Aanvi Kamdar (26), a inhabitant of Mumbai. A travel influencer, Ms. Kamdar was affectionate of shooting reels.


She had gone to the waterfalls with her companions to appreciate the rainy season at the waterfalls.


While taking photos and recordings of the waterfall, the deceased's leg slipped, and she fell straight into a 350-foot-deep gorge.


As soon as information about the occurrence was gotten, the Sahyadri Wildlife Conservation Society and Mangaon police officers come to the area, along with the rescue forces.


Superintendent of Police Raigad, Somnath Gharge, said that the lady was alive after falling into the gorge and was protected. In any case, amid the treatment, she passed away.


"While descending to protect the lady from the gorge, there were huge stones falling on us. At to begin with, it appeared like the lady was not alive. However, after going closer, she was breathing, which affirmed that she was alive. She was instantly taken to the healing center. However, she died amid the treatment," Somnath Gharge said.



The protect operation was begun after taking stock of the situation.


Earlier, on June 30, at around 12:30 p.m., a family of five passed on after suffocating in a waterfall near the Bhushi Dam in Pune's Lonavala.


The bodies were recuperated by the protect teams.


One of the two children, who were lost after the family drowned, was found dead, a senior area official said.


Suhas Diwas, the Area Collector of Pune, offered to the public to be cautious of their going by surroundings and to not go close to any water bodies in the stormy weather.


He said "I request to the public to be responsible and not go close any waterfalls or streams. We have issued advisories and the administration has inquired us to handle any sort of occurrence. Comparative episodes have taken put over the final couple of days. Care needs to be taken and legitimate arranging needs to be done, keeping in mind the climate conditions."
