Chirag Paswan and Kangana Ranaut’s Candid Moments: From Reel to Real
The world of politics often seems worlds apart from the glitz and glamour of Bollywood, but for Chirag Paswan and Kangana Ranaut, these worlds collide. Recently, the two actors turned politicians, who starred together in the 2014 film Miley Na Miley Hum, were spotted sharing a light-hearted moment near the entrance of the Indian Parliament in Delhi. The interaction not only caught the attention of onlookers but also sparked a wave of curiosity among fans and media alike.
Back in June, a video surfaced showing Kangana and Chirag sharing a candid moment just outside Parliament. Kangana, dressed in a simple yellow cotton sari, and Chirag, in a white kurta and blue jeans, exchanged a friendly ‘low five’ as they crossed paths. Their brief encounter, full of smiles and laughs, was captured by ANI and quickly went viral. Despite their busy political schedules, it was a heartwarming reminder of their Bollywood roots and long-standing friendship.
Reflecting on the viral moment in an interview with AajTak, Kangana Ranaut couldn't help but laugh. She playfully remarked, “Leave Parliament out of it,” emphasizing the sanctity of the space where they now serve as elected representatives. She continued, “It is the temple of our Constitution. I represent my constituency there. Chirag and I have known each other for a long time. He is a very good friend of mine. But you guys are after me for the same. Now even Chirag changes his path when he sees me.”
Kangana’s response was lighthearted yet hinted at the scrutiny public figures often face. She expressed that Chirag, whom she considers a good friend, now playfully avoids her to dodge the persistent attention their meetings receive.
Chirag Paswan also shared his thoughts on the viral moment during a podcast with Smita Prakash. He fondly recalled looking forward to meeting Kangana in Parliament, noting that their connection had waned over the past few years due to their busy lives. However, the candid interactions rekindled their camaraderie. When asked if he offered any tips to Kangana for her speeches, Chirag laughed and replied, “No, no. She doesn’t need any tip.” He went on to praise Kangana as a strong woman who articulately voices her opinions.
Both Kangana Ranaut and Chirag Paswan have successfully transitioned from the world of cinema to the corridors of power, albeit representing different parties. Kangana is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, while Chirag leads the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas). Despite their political commitments, the duo continues to share a bond that transcends beyond the realms of their professional lives.
Their recent meetings, including at the NDA's Parliamentary meet in New Delhi, show that their friendship has stood the test of time. Chirag expressed his admiration for Kangana, calling her a “strong lady” whose articulate voice he eagerly anticipates in Parliament. Their interactions serve as a reminder that beyond the public eye, personal connections and shared histories still matter.
The camaraderie between Kangana Ranaut and Chirag Paswan is a delightful blend of their Bollywood past and their current political journeys. As both continue to serve in their capacities as MPs, their warm and candid moments remind us of the human side of those who often make headlines for their professional endeavors. Whether on the silver screen or in the halls of Parliament, Kangana and Chirag's interactions continue to capture the public's imagination, blending the charm of Bollywood with the gravitas of governance.
