Sanjay roy wanted Egg choumin in the jail, this is what authority has done to him.

Sanjoy Roy, the suspect in the rape and murder of a postgraduate student at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, reportedly expressed frustration over the prison food, as reported by News18. Currently held at the Presidency Correctional Home, Roy demanded egg chowmein instead of the standard 'sabzi-roti' meals. When served the latter, he became agitated but eventually complied after being reprimanded by prison staff. Sources noted that prison regulations require all inmates to receive the same meal.

In a recent lie-detection test, Roy allegedly claimed that the victim was already dead when he saw her and that he fled in fear. CBI sources observed that Roy appeared "unnerved and anxious" during questioning, with the test revealing several "false and unconvincing answers."

Meanwhile, a senior Kolkata Police official clarified on Friday that they never labeled the incident as a suicide. Indira Mukherjee, Deputy Commissioner of Central Division, refuted claims made in viral audio clips, stating, "We never said it was a suicide."

Additionally, the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) will hold a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar today to condemn the rape and murder of the doctor at RG Kar Medical College. A FAIMA spokesperson expressed deep concern over the incident, highlighting the dangers faced by healthcare professionals and affirming their commitment to seeking justice. Manish Jangra, founder and chief advisor of FAIMA, emphasized, "Our fight will continue until justice is served."
